The Fokker S-11 Instructor was a Dutch-designed two-seat piston-engine primary trainer developed by Fokker after World War Two. Simple, robust, and docile, it was exported to numerous countries and became a staple of post-war pilot training.

History
First flown in December 1947, the S-11 was selected by the Royal Netherlands Air Force and subsequently sold to Israel, Italy, Bolivia, and Brazil, among others. Brazilian production continued under licence by Fokker do Brasil, significantly extending the type's life.
Variants
The S-11 was built in Netherlands and under licence in Brazil; the S-12 was a further development with a tricycle undercarriage.
