The T.2 is the two-seat operational trainer Jaguar, recognisable by its longer, humped fuselage profile housing a tandem cockpit. It retains full combat capability and the signature over-wing pylons.

The tandem cockpit hump behind the original cockpit position is the immediate tell. The fuselage is visibly longer forward of the wing than on the GR.1/3. Over-wing pylons confirm the type. Against the Jaguar E (French trainer), RAF markings and avionics fits differ.

History
First flight 1971; 38 T.2s built for the RAF. Used for Jaguar conversion training at Lossiemouth. The T.2A added updated navigation, and the T.4 incorporated GR.3A avionics. Retired with the single-seat fleet in 2007.
Variants
The T.2A has improved nav; T.4 aligns with GR.3A avionics. French Air Force equivalent is the Jaguar E. Indian two-seater is the Jaguar IB.

RAF Jaguar OCU Lossiemouth 1975-2007. India's two-seaters remain in limited use. Static T.2 at Cosford and East Midlands Aeropark.
