The SIPA S.1100 was a French twin-engine observation and light ground-support aircraft, designed by Yves Gardan to meet a 1958 requirement born of the Algerian War.

History
France needed a counter-insurgency type able to combine observation, photography and light ground attack, spawning parallel designs from SIPA, Sud Aviation and later Dassault. The S.1100 first flew on 24 April 1958.
Variants
It never progressed beyond the single prototype; no production variants were built.
Where you'll see it
The programme ended abruptly when the sole prototype crashed fatally on 2 July 1958, just weeks after its first flight.
