History
The Storm Century grew from the original Storm range, which was mainly sold as kits. It is a low-wing, all-metal design that first flew in 1991 with a 100 hp Rotax 912UL-S engine.
Variants
The Century RG has retractable gear, and the Century '04 is a fixed-gear alternative with a conventional fixed horizontal stabiliser and elevator. The 5XL adds 25 cm ahead of the firewall, 15 cm behind the cockpit and about 40 cm of wingspan, making a 2+2 variant.
Where you'll see it
It is marketed in the United States and Australia as a Light Sport Aircraft, and in many other countries as an ultralight.
