WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Tailless layout with short wing-tip fins and taller rudders
- Braced high wing with constant chord, swept at about 10 degrees
- Short pod fuselage ending in a knife edge, with a pusher propeller arrangement
A tailless high-wing aircraft with a fabric-covered swept wing braced by inverted V-struts, a pair of wing-tip fins and rudders, and a very short rear fuselage.
Specifications
- The Teichfuss Cicogna has a length of 3.8 m (12 ft).
- It has a wingspan of 14 m (46 ft).
- Typical crew: 1.

History
It was a tailless and powered version of the Teichfuss Astore, which was very similar to the 1930 RRG Falke designed by Alexander Lippisch. It first flew in 1936, launched as a glider by aerotow.
Variants
Two were built. The design was a powered version of the Astore.
Where you'll see it
There is no evidence that it flew under power or that its troublesome 25 hp flat-twin engine was ever fitted.
