History
It is a development of the Windward Performance SparrowHawk and first flew in 2011. It is intended as a higher performance glider than its predecessor, with very high structural limits and Vne, and has less than 10% parts commonality with it.
Variants
The DuckHawk E is an electric motorglider version, and the DuckHawk V (Veloce) is the base model with load limits of +7/-5g. The SV and VNX models were proposed with stronger structures but none were completed.
Where you'll see it
By December 2016 four had been registered in the United States with the FAA, three V models and one E model. Since 2016 the manufacturer has no longer advertised it as available.
