The Aero Commander 100 (also marketed as the Volaire 10 and Meyers 200 predecessor) is a light two-seat low-wing monoplane developed for the general aviation market in the early 1960s. It was intended as a trainer and personal tourer combining docile handling with modest performance.

History
Originally developed by Volaircraft as the Volaire 10, the design was acquired and relaunched by Aero Commander as the Model 100 around 1963. It used a Lycoming O-320 engine and offered side-by-side seating in a roomy cabin. Production numbers were modest as the type competed against established Cessna and Piper offerings.
Variants
The Aero Commander 100, 100-180, and variants with different engine ratings formed the family; essentially the same airframe with power varying from 150 to 200 hp.

Sold exclusively to civil operators, flying schools, and private owners in North America; never adopted for military use.
