History
Beech introduced the Model 36 in 1968 by lengthening the Bonanza fuselage and moving to a straight-tail layout, abandoning the earlier V-tail's ruddervators. The A36 refinement added the utility of double doors and remained in continuous production for decades.
Variants
The line includes the turbocharged A36TC and B36TC and the turboprop G36 with glass avionics. All share the same lengthened, conventional-tail airframe.
Where you'll see it
In the UK the Bonanza is a prized high-performance touring single flown by private owners and a handful of charter operators. Its speed and load-carrying make it a step above typical four-seat trainers.
