History

The US Navy operated the Beech Model 18 under numerous designations depending on role and procurement batch; the JRB series denoted aircraft in the personnel transport role, with the Voyager name applied to distinguish them from other Navy 18s. The JRB-1 was among the first of these Navy transports.

Variants

The JRB series ran to JRB-1 through JRB-6, all based on the Model 18 airframe with varying equipment and engine fits. The Army equivalent was the C-45 Expeditor.
