The Boeing C-40 Clipper is the US military designation for a fleet of Boeing 737-700C convertible aircraft used by the US Navy and Marine Corps for personnel transport and logistics missions. It can quickly convert between passenger and cargo configurations.

History
Selected by the US Navy in 1997 to replace its ageing C-9 Skytrain II fleet, the C-40A first flew in 1999 and entered service in 2001. The C-40B and C-40C variants serve the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard as senior leader transport aircraft. The type filled an important role in sustaining naval aviation logistics across global basing.
Variants
The C-40A serves the US Navy and Marines; the C-40B and C-40C serve the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard respectively.
