Recognition (WEFT)
| W — Wings | Low-mounted, delta |
|---|---|
| E — Engines | 1 × turbofan, fuselage-mounted |
| F — Fuselage | 14.55 m fuselage |
| T — Tail | No tailplane |
WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Two-seat cockpit, based on the Mirage 2000B trainer
- ASMP nuclear missile carried on the centreline pylon
- Distinctive large 2,000-litre underwing drop tanks with bulbous noses
Look for a tailless delta with a second seat, the ASMP under the belly and the big bulbous underwing tanks. The airframe was strengthened for low-level flight and has an Antilope 5 terrain-following radar.
