The de Havilland Devon C.2 is the RAF designation for the military version of the de Havilland Dove twin-piston airliner, used for communications, VIP transport, and training.

History
The de Havilland Dove first flew in September 1945 as a post-war light airliner. The RAF adopted it as the Devon C.1/C.2 for communications and staff transport duties, while the Royal Navy used it as the Sea Devon C.20.
Variants
The Devon C.1 was the initial RAF variant; the C.2 featured minor improvements; the Dove 1-8 civil series covered numerous commercial customers worldwide.

The RAF operated Devons from 1948 until 1984, making it one of the longest-serving aircraft in RAF service; the Royal Navy also operated the Sea Devon variant.
