History
Developed from the D.500 series, the D.510 entered service with the Armée de l'Air in 1936 and was exported to China, Turkey and Lithuania. By the outbreak of World War II it was obsolete, but Chinese examples saw combat against Japanese forces.
Variants
The D.510 was an upgunned development of the D.500 with a more powerful engine; subsequent D.513 and D.520 represented further evolution.
Where you'll see it
Served with France, China, Turkey and Lithuania; Chinese D.510s engaged Japanese aircraft during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
