History

The Brazilian Air Force required a utility transport that could operate from unprepared airstrips and carry a variety of cargo; the K variant addressed this by strengthening the cabin floor and adding a large loading door, making it a practical light freighter.

Variants

The K1 was a follow-on variant with further refinements; both K-series aircraft served alongside passenger Bandeirantes in the Brazilian Air Force inventory.

Where you'll see it

Operated by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) for general transport and logistics support; also used for casualty evacuation and supply missions.
