History
Designed by Heinkel and delivered to Denmark from 1927, the He 8 was one of several Heinkel export designs of the interwar period. It operated from Danish naval bases for coastal patrol and reconnaissance duties. The type was relatively conventional for its era, following established biplane floatplane practice.
