The FMA IA 35 Huanquero was an Argentine-designed and built twin-engine utility transport and trainer developed in the early 1950s for the Fuerza Aérea Argentina. It represented an important milestone in Argentine indigenous aircraft production.

History
First flown in 1953, the Huanquero was produced by the Fábrica Militar de Aviones (later FMA) at Córdoba. It served the Argentine Air Force in transport, navigation training, and light bombing roles. The design was entirely indigenous, demonstrating Argentina's growing aeronautical industry capability in the postwar period.
Variants
Several variants were produced including the IA 35 I bomber-trainer, IA 35 II navigation trainer, and IA 35 IV transport; powerplants included DINFIA-built Pratt & Whitney R-1340 Wasp engines.
