The Junkers Ju 60 was a single-engine low-wing monoplane airliner developed in the early 1930s for high-speed mail and passenger services. It retained the corrugated Duralumin construction synonymous with Junkers designs of the era.

History
First flown in 1932, the Ju 60 was developed to replace slower Junkers types on Lufthansa express routes. Only a small number were built before the more capable Ju 160 supplanted it in production. The type operated on European mail routes for a brief period.
Variants
The Ju 60 was produced in a single main variant; the aerodynamically refined Ju 160 was its direct successor with smoother skinning and improved performance.

Operated exclusively by Deutsche Luft Hansa on domestic German and European express routes during the mid-1930s; the fleet was small and the type was quickly retired as faster aircraft became available.
