The PIK-27 is a Finnish self-launching motor glider developed by the Polyteknikkojen Ilmailukerho (the Polytechnic Students' Aviation Club of Helsinki), continuing a long tradition of club-built Finnish sailplanes.

History
PIK has produced a series of notable gliders since the 1950s, including the internationally successful PIK-20. The PIK-27 was developed in the 2000s as a self-launching motor glider, featuring a retractable engine installation to preserve aerodynamic cleanliness in gliding flight. The project was built largely by club members.
Variants
A single prototype has been built. The PIK-27 is a direct descendant in spirit of the PIK-20 and PIK-21 series.
