The SportCruiser is a light-sport aircraft (LSA) designed for recreational flying, offering side-by-side seating under a large bubble canopy. It is produced by Czech Sport Aircraft and is popular in both European and North American markets.

History
Introduced in 2006, the SportCruiser was developed to meet the then-new FAA Light Sport Aircraft category requirements. It quickly gained a following thanks to its handling qualities and relatively affordable price. The type has been exported widely and assembled under licence in the United States.
Variants
Minor variants differ primarily in avionics fit and engine choice, with the Rotax 912 ULS being most common. A floatplane version has also been offered.
