History

Runway tests began in April 2023 and the maiden flight took place on 28 December 2023, lasting one hour and ten minutes. In October 2024 an Anka-3 became the first drone controlled by another aircraft in a loyal-wingman role while carrying a cruise missile.

Variants

The first version flies with a single Ivchenko-Progress AI-322 turbofan. TAI plans to fit two TEI-TF10000 turbofans to give supersonic performance, and larger future variants with more payload are foreseen.

Where you'll see it

The type is still in development. A prototype was lost in a crash during the Anatolian Eagle 2025 exercise, and production deliveries are planned for 2028.
