History
It was a four-seat development of the earlier Uetz U2V, which had been based on the Jodel D.119. The prototype U3M first flew on 21 May 1963 with a 135 hp Lycoming O-290 engine.
Variants
The U3M was the prototype with a 135 hp Lycoming O-290, two built. The U4M production version had a 150 hp Lycoming O-320-A2B and flaps.
Where you'll see it
The company built two aircraft and one other was amateur-built, so the type saw only limited use.
