History
KLM ordered the Jumbo in 1927 as a specialised freighter, and it was delivered in 1931. Only one aircraft was built, registered PH-AFI.
Variants
Only one was built, so there were no variants.
Where you'll see it
KLM flew it between Amsterdam, Rotterdam and London for two years, then passed it to the airline training centre, which used it for the next eight years. It was described as a good trainer in 1938 and was destroyed at Amsterdam-Schiphol in a German bombing raid on 10 May 1940.
