History
Cessna offered Businessliner interior packages on several of its 400-series twins to appeal to the growing corporate aviation market of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The designation simply reflects the interior specification chosen at time of order rather than any aerodynamic or systems change.
Variants
The Businessliner package was available on multiple Cessna twin models; the 401B Businessliner is one of several such configurations. A parallel Commuterliner package targeted air taxi operators.
Where you'll see it
Delivered to corporate operators and business aviation customers primarily in North America; surviving examples are in private and charter use.
