History
Developed by Embraer as a larger companion to the Phenom 100, the prototype first flew in April 2008 and was certified in December 2009. It is single-pilot certified and powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535 turbofans.
Variants
The original Phenom 300 was updated as the Phenom 300E with a redesigned cabin and avionics, followed by versions with uprated engines for more thrust and range. A Phenom 300MED medevac configuration is also offered.
Where you'll see it
In the UK the Phenom 300 is widely used in business aviation and charter fleets, operating from Farnborough, Biggin Hill and regional airports. Its blend of range, cabin size and operating economics has made it a popular choice with operators.
