History

First flown in May 2008 and certified in 2010, the CJ4 stretched the CJ3 airframe and added a new swept wing and more powerful Williams FJ44-4A engines. It can be flown single-pilot, broadening its appeal to owner-operators.

Variants

The baseline CJ4 was followed by the CJ4 Gen2 with cabin and avionics enhancements and the further-refined CJ4 Gen3. All share the same swept-wing, T-tail configuration with rear-mounted engines.

In the UK the CJ4 operates from business-aviation hubs such as Farnborough, Biggin Hill and London City, serving charter and corporate flight departments. Its single-pilot certification and runway performance suit short-hop European business travel.
