The Hawk 109 is the two-seat Hawk 100-series export version for the Indonesian Air Force, which received eight; they fly alongside Indonesia's single-seat Hawk 209s.

History
Indonesia ordered the two-seat Hawk 109 together with the single-seat Hawk 209 in the 1990s, giving the Indonesian Air Force an advanced trainer and light attack aircraft from the same family. Eight Hawk 109s were delivered.
Variants
Hawk 100-series export variant for Indonesia, partnered with the single-seat Hawk 209. Other 100-series exports include the Hawk 102 (Abu Dhabi, UAE), 103 (Oman), 108 (Malaysia), 115 (Canada) and 129 (Bahrain).
