History
Designed by SIAI-Marchetti of Sesto Calende, the S.205 appeared in 1965 and the more powerful S.208 followed. The Italian Air Force adopted the S.208M as a liaison aircraft.
Variants
The S.205 came in fixed and retractable undercarriage versions with various engine fits; the S.208 was the uprated four-seat variant and the S.208M the military liaison model.
