The Shenyang F-2 is the export designation for the J-2, China's licence-built MiG-15bis, offered to friendly nations as part of Chinese military assistance programmes.

History
As China sought to build relationships with non-aligned and communist-aligned nations, surplus and newly produced J-2 aircraft were transferred to allied air forces under the F-2 export designation. Recipients included several African and Asian nations during the 1960s and 1970s.
Variants
The F-2 is essentially identical to the J-2/MiG-15bis. No significant sub-variants exist beyond those inherited from the Soviet MiG-15 programme.
Where you'll see it
Exported to Tanzania, Albania, and other nations as part of Chinese foreign military assistance. Most surviving examples are in museums or long retired.
