History

Development was announced in 2017 after Dassault cancelled the 5X programme following engine development difficulties with Safran; switching to PW812D engines, the 6X made its first flight in March 2021 and received EASA and FAA certification in 2023.

Variants

A single core variant is offered, with options for different interior configurations; Dassault has also proposed a potential 6XS short-fuselage derivative.
