History

Note: the input data records a first flight of 1995, which corresponds to the earlier Gulfstream GV rather than the current G500. The current G500 first flew in May 2015 and entered service in 2018. This entry documents the 2015-generation G500. The original Gulfstream GV (sometimes marketed as G500) first flew in 1995.

Variants

The G500 is offered alongside the longer G600; both share the same advanced wing and avionics suite (Symmetry Flight Deck) but differ in fuselage length and range.

Where you'll see it

In service worldwide with corporate flight departments, charter operators, and government users from 2018 onward; a strong seller in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
