The Learjet 85 was a midsize business jet developed by Bombardier featuring an all-composite airframe, the first Learjet to use this construction method. It was designed to carry up to eight passengers with intercontinental range.

History
Development began in the mid-2000s as a replacement for the Learjet 60, with the first flight occurring in 2014. Bombardier suspended the programme in 2015 citing financial pressures, and officially cancelled it in 2015 without entering production.
Variants
Only the prototype and pre-production airframes were built; no production variants reached service.

The Learjet 85 never entered airline or charter service due to programme cancellation before production began.
