History
Tecnam first flew the P2006T in 2007 and gained EASA certification, making it the first new twin to achieve European type approval in many years. The choice of two Rotax 912 engines rather than traditional Lycomings gives it lower operating costs than conventional twins. It is widely used for multi-engine training across European flying schools.
Variants
The P2006T MkII introduced improved avionics and structural refinements; a floatplane conversion is available from specialist operators.
