The Van's RV-14 is a high-performance side-by-side two-seat amateur-built aircraft from the renowned RV family, offering sportplane performance with comfortable cockpit width for two adults. It is the largest of the Van's designs and the first in the line conceived from the outset for side-by-side seating.

History

Van's Aircraft introduced the RV-14 kit in 2013, responding to builder demand for a roomier variant after the success of the tandem-seat RV-8. The design retained the family's hallmark light handling and cruise speed while offering significantly more cockpit width than the RV-7.

Variants

The RV-14A features a tricycle undercarriage; the standard RV-14 uses a conventional tailwheel. Both share identical airframe structures.
