History
The USAF operates the C-37B alongside the earlier C-37A (G500-based) to provide long-range executive airlift for senior government and military officials. The G550 offers transcontinental range without refuelling, making it well-suited to diplomatic and command transport missions.
Variants
The C-37A is the G500-based predecessor; both are grouped under the C-37 designation. The USAF also operates the larger C-40 (737-700 based).
