The Neiva Regente 360C is a Brazilian high-wing light aircraft developed from the earlier Regente series, used for liaison and observation duties by the Brazilian Air Force.

History

Sociedade Construtora Aeronáutica Neiva developed the Regente family as a domestic alternative to imported light aircraft for the Força Aérea Brasileira. The 360C introduced a more powerful Continental IO-360 engine and minor airframe refinements. Over 150 examples of the Regente family were built for FAB liaison, training, and observation roles.

Variants

The Regente family spanned the 360C and the earlier 420L (L-42 Regente); the C-42 Regente designation covers FAB examples in military liaison service.

Where you'll see it

Served with the Força Aérea Brasileira from the late 1960s onward in liaison and observation roles; small numbers remained in secondary use into the 1990s.
